Goa Board HSSC Result 2018- Every year, many students studying in 10th and 12th standards appear for the annual board examinations in Goa. They study hard the whole year, give their exams and wait for the results to be declared.

Founded in 1975 under the Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act of 1975, the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is one of the prominent boards in the state. There are many schools in this area that are affiliated to it. The major responsibilities of GBSHSE include-

The goa board conducts the exams for SSC and HSSC students every year in the month of March and April. Though predictions are always made about the exam starting, ending and result in dates but it is only the board that has the right to finalize them. Many websites tell different dates according to the information they get, which may sometimes be correct too but most of the times they are just predictions and unofficial statements.
It is always better to check the official website for any sort of confusion. According to this year’s calendar of the board, the HSSC exams are expected to start from 1 March 2018 and will end on 21 March 2018 and the HSSC Result 2018 will be declared on 27 April 2018.
Goa Board HSSC Result – Previous Year Result Analysis
For the previous academic year that is for the session 2016-17 the HSSC results were declared on April 27, 2017, in the morning. The results came out for about 16,883 students, however, only 14,802 students passed.
The total candidates who could not make it to the passing criteria were 2064 in number. The passing percentage of boys was 86.69% while that of girls was 90.68%. The overall passing percentage was declared to be 87.67%.

For Checking the HSSC Result 2018
Once the Goa Board GBSHSE 12th Class Result 2018 is declared, it can be checked by following these steps
- Go to the official Goa Board Website- gbshse.gov.in
- Click on the result link.
- Enter your seat number in the space provided.
- After that, click on the ‘Get Results’ button.
- On clicking, the result will be displayed on the screen in pdf format.
- Click on the download option and the downloading will soon begin.
- Once it completes, you can open the pdf and view your result.
